THRIFT STORE SHOPPING

Many of you have asked where I get such great deals while shopping thrifty stores.  I thought I'd share photos of the thrift store I frequent. (I'm not receiving any monetary endorsement for sharing this). The store is sponsored by our local Christian School with all the proceeds going to christian education. (The store is in the old school building and gymnasium).  There are 150 volunteers that work to keep the store up and running.  Of the 150 volunteers, there are three ladies that come every Monday  to set up displays.  The displays are changed twice weekly, and include seasonal and holiday changes.  As you can see in the photos, it's now set up for spring and Easter.

Welcome to my local thrift store!

(I think their name is so fitting and the sign is creative... using an old door!)

You're greeted by one of the new weekly display as you enter the front door.

To the right of the entrance, home goods are displayed while the antiques and jewelry items are behind a display counter against the far wall.

Note the attention to details ...

...in the multiple displays.

 See the great prices!

There's also a large selection of clothing as well as a corner set aside for shoes and purses.

In my next post, I'll reveal  what's in the main show room.  On the following day I'll share tips for shopping at thrift stores.  I'm anxious to share these tips with you, so please come back for more!

Have a great day!

  4. What a gorgeous store!
The Popcorn bowls on my post today are from a Salvation Army & were purchased for a 1/4 of retail (I looked it up when I got home!)

You have such a great place to shop & knowing that it's going to the Christian School is even better!
    Happy Wednesday!
